Building bathrooms and Laundry facilities for Dechen Podrang Buddhist School in Bhutan

€1.200 of €1.200 raised

The oldest temple in the buthanese capital Thimphu houses more than 260 novices aged 7 to 16 years. Right now many of the young novices got an infectional scalp disease which spreads. His Eminence Tsugla Lopen Samten Dorji Rinpoche asked MC Brigitte to bring two german doctors to Dechen Podrang Temple to check the novices. They took samples to check it in a german laboratory. A big problem here is that the temple doesn’t have suitable bathrooms, no warm water and no washing machines. Every room houses 15 boys and without washing machines beddings that are always shared, are rarely washed. The abbot Payla Drukpa has asked MC Brigitte to help building suitable bathrooms with warm water showers and a laundry place. The buildings are already there but have to be renovated and facilities need to be bought and installed.
