The 8 buddhist precepts
We keep eight precepts at the temple. Keeping these precepts will help a meditator to gain mindfulness and concentration more quickly.
1. I try to avoid killing living beings.
2. I try to avoid stealing or taking things without asking.
3. I try to avoid having sexual contact.
4. I try to avoid telling lies or having harsh speech.
5. I try to avoid drinking alcohol or taking substances, which lead, to carelessness (alcohol, drugs…).
6. I try to avoid taking solid food after 12 o’clock midday until sunrise.
7. I try to avoid listening to music, seeing entertainment’s, wearing garlands, adornments, using cosmetics, perfumes.
8. I try to avoid sleeping on a high and luxury bed.
Costs / Donations
Retreats are free of charge. Donations are welcome. Because we are always asked about how much one should donate to cover the costs for the temple, we recommend 300 thai baht per day or about 100 Euros/100 $ per retreat for the temple. this will cover costs for water, electricity, maintainance of the place and food. Teachers do not have any income except the donations they receive from the students. If you want to give a donation to support a teacher, please give it to the teacher directly. Envelops can be found at the meditation hall.
Social projects of MC Brigitte
If you want to support MC Brigittes’ Social Projects or the printing of Dhamma books in English, German and Thai language, these are not paid by the temple funds and can be given separately to MC Brigitte.

Description: The Center is located at the outskirts of Bangkok, at Nong Chok District. Surrounded by rice fields it’s a special location so close to Bangkok but already in a typical natural Thai surrounding.
How to get to the temple:
Taxi from the City: From Bangkoks’ Center it’s an 1 1⁄2 hour ride by taxi (consider that traffic-jam time in Bangkok is from 6 a.m. – 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. In this time it can take more than 2 hours). Let the driver go with taximeter. It should not be more than 400 Baht/8-10 Euros. Usually i take the tollway towards Suvarnabhumi Airport. Costs a extra fee of 70 Bht. You leave the tollway at Rom Klao exit (short before the airport). Then turn left and follow the Rom Klao Road until you reach the intersection, where you see the sign to „Lard Krabang Industrial Estate“. Turn right and follow the road until it ends into Chalong Krung Road. Turn left and follow Chalong Krung Road until you reach Nong Chok. From Nong Chok its only 4 km to the temple. Everyone in Nong Chok knows it. From Nong Chok you can also easily follow the way with the map.
Bus: You could also take a Bus from Bangkok Northern Bus Terminal or Bus Nr. 26 from the center of Bangkok to Minburi. From there go on with a Van to Nong Chok. From Nong Chok take the „Song Teaow“ pick up truck towards Prachasamran Police Station. The temple is about 300 m behind the police station. Taking Busses will only cost about 100 Baht but needs about 3 to 4 hours.
Airport link from the City: Take the Airport link train to Lardkrabang Station and take a Taxi from there to the temple (about 150 Baht).
From Suvarnabhumi Airport: Its about an 30 to 40 minutes ride with the taxi (about 250 Baht). The Taxi has to go off at Rom Klao exit and follow the above described way towards Nong Chok.
Attention: Please try to arrive at the temple before 16.00h. No one will be accepted if they arrive after 18.00h.
